Front End Overview
Restaurant Management System can be grouped into 3 parts as follows :
1. Front-End – food ordering, billing and issue receipt.
2. Back office - food information maintenance, price setup, issue sales and inventory reports and documents,
receive updated information from head office, send sales data to head office.
3. Head Office – control food information and pricing for each branch, identify and control staff authority and
security of each branch.
Main functions of Front-End system are :
- Convenient and easy to use.
- System support touchscreen or keyboard for easy and fast order entry
- Program menu screen support English and Thai display

- Flexible system that support out of menu orders or customer specific food preparation requirements.
- System support for connection of multiple kitchen and bar printers. This allows fast & accurate transmission of orders to
respective area for food & drink preparation.
- Convenience to cancel or make changes to orders either in quantity or prices, subject to security features.
- Cashier access to real-time checking of customer bill plus capability to generate sales report on screen or on hard copy.
- Accepts multiple payment types or tender (cash, credit card, coupon, voucher, etc.)
- Multiple level of system security to ensure integrity of sales information.
- Expandable system that will allow the business to start from Stand-Alone to a Network of Multiple Terminals that can
cater to business with different branches.
- Program allow users to monitor the status of table whether it is available, occupied, no movement, and time
consumption of each table.

- Ordered foods will be printed to the kitchen directly according to the printer setting of each food at back office system.
- Easy to order food, change quantity or cancel. System also record the detail for tracking purpose.
- Security control by password authentication to access program. Each users can be assigned to have different privilege.
Users can login to the system by using keyboard or magnetic card.
- System allows users to order open food which is not available in the menu.
- Table moving to another table can be done by the whole table or only some selected food in the table.

- Customer can order foods to be served or take away in the same bill.
- System support to order food with free of charge.
- Payment settlement can be shared by person or can be separated each food for person.
- System support payment by cash, credit card, coupon, voucher, etc. It can be multiple payment in a transaction.
- User can define service charge and discount rate.
- Discount can be on demand or pre-defined in the system.
- Tax Invoice ABB can be printed immediately.

Back Office / Head Office Feature
Main functions of Back Office system are :
1. Multiple level security, password controlled system for various access privileges requirements of managers, supervisors,cashier, waiters and system administrator.
2. Membership management system that handles member settlement, member details, discount types per payment type,member card generation, etc.
3. Support Thai-English or combined during bill payment, invoice and kitchen printing.
4. Supports full tax invoicing.
5. Flexible settlement features either by room name, by table no., or by seat in a table.
6. Convenient raw material code control for cooking preparation.
7. Detailed raw material usage monitoring per recipe.
8. Purchasing function that supports issuance of purchase orders with specified payment terms & delivery per supplier for all items including raw material,supplies, etc.
9. Receiving function that support issuance of receiving document refer to purchase order. Or direct receive without refer
to purchase order.
10. Stock adjustment function which cover food and raw material adjustment.
11. Physical inventory checking function which help users to compare and adjust the difference of physical inventory figure and logical inventory figure (in the system).
12. A variety of management reports for easy sales & inventory analysis. Daily sales / on-line sales, sales summary, sales
history, transaction history, cashier shift, promotion sales reports, purchase order pending & completed per supplier, and
more.
